Technology coaches assist teachers in using technology effectively for assessing student learning, differentiating instruction, and providing rigorous, relevant, and engaging learning experiences for all students.

Why I choose this standard:
I choose this standard because of my experience utilizing Canvas to assess student learning and utilize the data to make decisions about how to improve student learning and student learning outcomes. I create Canvas quizzes to quickly assess student mastery and give students feedback about their mastery. This also provides students with experience completing online assessments similar to the standardized assessments they must complete each year. Additionally, I utilize Canvas (although very seldom) to create self pace modules for students to complete to strengthen the prerequisite skills needed to for new content.
